Along Hampton Court Palace’s Moat Bridge, ten royal beasts sculpted in stone represent the union and royal ancestry of Henry VIII and Jane Seymour. These noble guardians have inspired a new bullion collection – The Royal Tudor Beasts – and the fifth coin in the collection features the Tudor Dragon.

David Lawrence’s dynamic design of the mythical dragon features on the reverse of the coin, set against a background that resembles chain mail and includes surface animation that provides the coin with additional security. The obverse features the official coinage portrait of King Charles III by Martin Jennings.
