The Napoleonic Wars culminated at the Battle of Waterloo, where Napoleon Bonaparte suffered a historic defeat that thwarted his plans of gaining supremacy over the European continent. The battle, and the wider conflict itself, left a lasting impact and to mark its historical significance we have curated a premium, five-coin collector’s set.  

Two commemorative coins, dated 2024 and 2025 respectively, feature remastered depictions of the obverse and reverse designs of Benedetto Pistrucci’s spectacular Waterloo Medal. An 1815 Louis XVIII 20-franc gold coin struck at The Royal Mint in London complements these coins along with a George III sixpence and George IV crown that serve as physical representations of the conflict’s influence on British coinage.
