The House of Hanover Premium Set also charts the end of the guinea and reintroduction of The Sovereign to British coinage following the recoinage of 1816. It comprises three half-guineas from the reigns of George I, George II and Britain’s longest-reigning king, George III, and three Half-Sovereigns struck during the reigns of George IV, William IV and Queen Victoria.
