200 Years of the RNLI
Pay tribute to the courageous volunteers of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) over the last two centuries with a commemorative coin struck in honour of its volunteers’ selfless dedication to saving lives.
Honouring the institution’s 200th anniversary, the RNLI 2024 UK coin marks a tremendous milestone for the charity, which has been working to save lives since 1824.
Incorporating the charity’s personal flag and logo, the reverse design by experienced coin designer John Bergdahl pays homage to the RNLI’s 200-year history.
Since its inception, the RNLI has operated as a charity that relies on donations and its courageous volunteers. A percentage of the price of each coin will be donated in support of the charity’s work.
